 This one-day symposium is dedicated to the work and the life of Eric Hobsbawm as a tribute from some of the many who have benefited from his insights and collegiality, in their work as historians and as activists for a better world. It is hosted by the ‘Politics, Aesthetics, Philosophy’ group in the School of Humanities at the University of Brighton.
